I am Thomas, which is a pseudonym. I name myself after St. Thomas Aquinas, who was a 13th century philosopher and theologian, writing hundreds of treatises and books on natural theology.
I myself am mainly a writer, though occasionally I like to take pictures and then edit them on Photoshop a bit. The topics I like to write about range from just about anything from such oft-overlooked human acts like anticipation to the deepest pondering on man's existence and his meaning in the universe. I also secretly love math, but you didn't hear that from me, because I tell everyone I hate it, I just happen to be good at it.
I started writing at the suggestion of a girl I met at camp the summer after 7th grade, and then kept on writing. My early poems are pretty sketchy, but now I feel that my style has developed sufficiently that I could let them be critiqued. My true love, though, is the essay, and I only feel truly satisfied with an essay if it is at least 10 pages long or 5,000 words on a single subject. I would like to be able to write many books during my lifetime, and in fact consider myself already well into writing at least two books on divergent topics.
I plan on doing something that people throughout history have said is impossible, and I feel that I am getting close to doing it; to prove that God is Triune without the use of any revelatory data. If I manage to do this, I would be guaranteed an automatic PhD and a job at any university anywhere in the world that I wanted to work. To be able to do such a thing, though, is ultimately my mission in life. I want my name to be remembered down throughout history just like St. Thomas Aquinas'.
